Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Izzet spellslinger shell led by Saheeli, Jewel of Avishkar. The strategy converts every noncreature spell into an evasive, hasty 1/1 Thopter artifact token. By accelerating on turns one through three with low-cost mana rocks and cost reducers like Geist of Saint Thalia, the deck deploys Saheeli on Turn 4 alongside cheap cantrips. On Turn 5, it transitions into lethal pressure by playing token enhancers like Draconic Visitor or Balmor, Battlemage Captain, which rapidly inflate combat damage into multi-player elimination range. Free and efficient countermagic such as Force of Will and Deflecting Swat protects the engine while Cyclonic Rift and red sweepers maintain board control. The deck closes games around Turn 7 via sustained aerial combat and explosive burn spells like Jaya's Immolating Inferno.
