Deck overview

This Golgari deck is an optimized Aristocrats combo engine commanded by Chatterfang, Squirrel General. The strategy centers on generating massive token swarms—doubled into 1/1 green Squirrels by Chatterfang's static ability—and converting them into mana, card draw, and lethal drain loops. The deck accelerates through dense 1-mana ramp and powerful mana engines like Gaea's Cradle and Warren Soultrader to assemble its board by Turn 3. Its primary win condition pairs Chatterfang with Pitiless Plunderer, generating infinite mana, infinite tokens, and infinite sacrifice triggers to drain all opponents simultaneously with blood artist effects like Marionette Apprentice, Bastion of Remembrance, and Mirkwood Bats. Supported by dense unconditional and creature-based tutors, alternative lines like Earthcraft plus Squirrel Nest and Craterhoof Behemoth ensure lethal inevitability on Turn 4 with zero response cycles once resolved.
