Deck overview

This mono-green deck is a synergistic Bear tribal aggro strategy led by Beorn the Fierce. The primary game plan utilizes a dense suite of 1-mana and 2-mana ramp pieces to deploy cheap Bears and shapeshifters before resolving Beorn on turn 4. Once assembled, Beorn distributes trample counters, turns supporting creatures into Bears, and generates recurring card advantage by drawing two cards each combat. The deck leverages its accelerated mana base and heavy card velocity to transition into game-ending combat multipliers like Craterhoof Behemoth, Triumph of the Hordes, and Overwhelming Stampede by turn 5. While the deck lacks stack-based countermagic against noncreature combos, it compensates with strong permanent removal such as Force of Vigor and robust board protection featuring Heroic Intervention and Sylvan Safekeeper. It provides consistent, resilient mid-game combat pressure that eliminates opponents across consecutive attack steps.
