Deck overview

This Temur Dragon deck focuses on accelerating mana rapidly to cast Ureni of the Unwritten ahead of curve. Once Ureni enters the battlefield, its ability looks at the top eight cards of the library and cheats a massive Dragon directly into play. The creature suite features devastating combat multipliers such as Atarka, World Render, Thrakkus the Butcher, Scourge of the Throne, and Lathliss, Dragon Queen. Together, these flying threats quickly assemble overwhelming combat damage. The deck backs up its high-cost threats with efficient ramp spells and premium free interaction, including Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat, which protect Ureni and maintain board presence. Without its commander, the deck transitions smoothly into hard-casting heavy Dragons using its substantial mana base. It delivers a resilient, high-pressure beatdown strategy capable of eliminating three opponents over two combat cycles.
