Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger and discard synergy deck commanded by Rielle, the Everwise. The strategy turns symmetrical discard and rummage spells into raw card advantage through Rielle's triggered ability. By discarding cards to effects like Cathartic Reunion, Frantic Search, and Windfall, the deck rapidly draws through its library while filling the graveyard with instant and sorcery cards. This simultaneously fuels Rielle's power to lethal levels. Secondary beaters like Crackling Drake and Enigma Drake provide redundant tall threats, while Shark Typhoon and Ominous Seas generate wide token boards. The deck closes games using evasive combat granted by Wonder or Anger, massive direct damage from Fateful Showdown and Soul's Fire, or a table-clearing Chandra's Ignition. An efficient suite of low-cost countermagic and removal protects the engine and answers opposing threats on curve.
