Deck overview

This mono-blue control deck helmed by Princess Yue pairs Spirit and Water Tribe synergies with classic text-altering 'hack' spells. The deck focuses on steady resource development and card filtering in the early game. Princess Yue provides continuous Scry 2 smoothing and built-in resilience, returning to the battlefield upon death as a Moon land to provide permanent mana acceleration while preserving her scry activation. The midgame establishes repeatable card flow through engines like Tui and La, Moon and Ocean, Katara, Waterbending Master, and Coastal Piracy, defended by potent interaction such as Fierce Guardianship, Force of Negation, and Witness Protection. Because the deck avoids fast infinite combos, its primary win condition relies on late-game power spikes around Turn 8, utilizing high-impact spells like Clone Legion, Agent of Treachery, and Bribery to turn opposing boards into a lethal attacking force that closes out the game over two combat rotations.
