Deck overview

This deck is a classic mono-black Zombie tribal strategy commanded by Ghoulcaller Gisa. The deck curves low-cost Zombie creatures and utility mana rocks into an early deployment of Gisa. Once active, Gisa converts high-power creatures and recurring bodies like Gravecrawler into large swarms of 2/2 Zombie tokens. The deck amplifies these tokens using classic tribal lords like Undead Warchief, Death Baron, and Cemetery Reaper, while draining opponents using Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Ayara, First of Locthwain, and Vengeful Dead. While resilient against single-target attrition due to its deep graveyard recursion suite, the deck plays at a casual pace without fast-mana combos or direct tutors. It relies heavily on creature combat and life drain to close the game over multiple turn cycles.
