Deck overview

This list is an optimized competitive Golgari aristocrats combo deck piloted by Chatterfang, Squirrel General. It leverages format-ceiling acceleration, ultra-efficient tutors, and redundant blood-artist effects to execute a lethal combo as early as Turn 2 or 3. The primary line pairs Chatterfang with Warren Soultrader: Soultrader sacrifices a creature to generate a Treasure token and pay 1 life, which prompts Chatterfang to create an accompanying 1/1 green Squirrel token. Adding any drain piece such as Zulaport Cutthroat or Blood Artist fully offsets the life payment, generating unbounded Treasures and draining all three opponents to zero in a single turn. Outside of its primary plan, the deck features exceptional secondary lines, including Doctor Doom, Unrivaled with library-exile spells and Gravecrawler loops with Phyrexian Altar. While light on stack interaction compared to blue-based shells, its explosive speed, resilience, and recursion make it a lethal proactive force.
