Deck overview

This is a high-power Sultai Elf combo deck that treats Thranduil, the Elvenking as a graveyard-powered activated-ability hub. The core plan is to flood the board with cheap Elf dorks, stuff the yard with high-value Elves via Buried Alive, Entomb, and Gifts Ungiven, and let Thranduil inherit tap-for-mana, untap, pump, and overrun abilities. Parallel two-card infinites live entirely in the 99 - Umbral Mantle on any four-mana Elf, Freed from the Real on Bloom Tender, and Intruder Alarm with Heritage Druid plus Imperious Perfect - and dump into Torment of Hailfire, a lethal Finale of Devastation, or repeated Ezuri, Renegade Leader overruns. Thranduil also loots whenever another legendary Elf enters, but only four such Elves sit in the 99, so that trigger is a bonus rather than the plan. Fast mana, a dense black tutor suite, and a cEDH-grade counter package let the list race and protect the window. Recasting the five-mana commander hurts, yet the battlefield combos still function if he is answered.
