Deck overview

This deck is a classic four-color Group Hug and Pillowfort strategy commanded by Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis. It accelerates the entire table by providing symmetric card draw through staples like Font of Mythos, Howling Mine, and Dictate of Kruphix, alongside abundant land ramp via Rites of Flourishing and Burgeoning. To survive the amplified threats of its opponents, the deck deploys sturdy defensive fortifications using Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, Sphere of Safety, and The Second Doctor. While opponents battle each other through the attack taxes, the deck uses its vast hand size and high mana pool to assemble alternate win conditions. Its primary victory route is casting Approach of the Second Sun, quickly digging through the required seven cards via high draw volume, and recasting it with counter protection. Backup win routes include table-wide card draw damage with Psychosis Crawler or army generation with Xyris, the Writhing Storm.
