Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Grixis artifact-combo deck helmed by Ashnod the Uncaring that wins through layered infinite-mana and life-drain lines. The core plan is to deploy cheap rocks and copy engines (Rings of Brighthearth, Kurkesh, Onakke Ancient, Strionic Resonator, Gogo, Master of Mimicry), then convert sacrifice-activated abilities or untap loops into infinite mana and a Walking Ballista finish. Parallel win paths include Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal, Exquisite Blood + Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, and Underworld Breach storm. Ashnod herself is a powerful amplifier for any activated ability that sacrifices a permanent, but the deck's registered combos live entirely in the 99 and function without her. Dense free interaction and premium tutors keep the deck interactive while it assembles.
