Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered 5-color midrange deck commanded by Jenson Carthalion, Druid Exile with Jegantha, the Wellspring as a companion. The game plan focuses on deploying early mana acceleration and color fixing through mana dorks and triomes, casting Jenson on turn 2, and layering multicolored legendary creatures to accumulate value. On turns 4 and 5, the deck transitions from board development to lethal pressure by landing massive payoffs like Jodah, the Unifier, Jetmir, Nexus of Revels, Niv-Mizzet Reborn, or Scion of Draco. These threats rapidly overwhelm opponents in combat with large anthem buffs, double strike, and evasion. The deck backs up its proactive board state with format-staple interaction such as Void Rend, Assassin's Trophy, Dovin's Veto, and Cyclonic Rift, along with protective spells like Teferi's Protection and Deflecting Swat to withstand board wipes.
