Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Rakdos burn and token swarm strategy commanded by Gev, Scaled Scorch. The primary plan leverages early group pingers to damage all opponents, enabling Gev's static ability to enter subsequent creatures with up to three +1/+1 counters. By combining low-cost enablers like Spear Spewer and Pulse Tracker with explosive token producers like Song of Totentanz, Hordeling Outburst, and Krenko, Tin Street Kingpin, the deck builds an intimidating wide board of oversized threats rapidly. Alongside combat pressure, the deck runs a potent enter-the-battlefield burn package featuring Impact Tremors, Agate Instigator, Purphoros, God of the Forge, and Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might, draining all three opponents simultaneously. While vulnerable to board wipes and lacking deep stack protection, its high redundancy and direct burn make it a fast, lethal clock.
