Deck overview

This Naya Voltron and Equipment deck is commanded by Tifa, Martial Artist, aiming to trigger her combat-doubling ability by boosting creatures to 7 or greater power. The deck accelerates in the early turns using low-cost mana dorks and artifacts before deploying equip-cost reducers such as Sigarda's Aid, Puresteel Paladin, and Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist. By Turn 4, the deck reliably establishes Tifa, Martial Artist or a backup threat like Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER or Bruenor Battlehammer, attaching heavy armaments including Buster Sword, Loxodon Warhammer, or Kaldra Compleat. Connecting for combat damage untaps the board and grants an immediate additional combat phase, quickly halving opposing life totals and compounding card advantage. The list also includes the two-card infinite combat loop of Sword of Feast and Famine and Aggravated Assault. While well shielded against targeted removal through tutorable hexproof and indestructible equipment, the strategy remains vulnerable to mass artifact destruction and exile board wipes.
