Deck overview

This deck is a 4-color Polymorph control strategy commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. By running zero low-cost creature cards in the 99, every polymorph effect is guaranteed to reveal one of six devastating high-cost threats: Archon of Cruelty, Hullbreaker Horror, Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant, Nezahal, Primal Tide, Serra's Emissary, or Toxrill, the Corrosive. The deck accelerates in the early turns using 2-CMC mana rocks and creates expendable creature tokens via spells like Raise the Alarm, Hard Evidence, and Skrelv's Hive. On Turn 4, Jace enters the battlefield and immediately uses his -3 loyalty ability to transform a token into an overwhelming creature bomb. Supported by an extensive suite of cheap counterspells and versatile spot removal, the deck locks down opposing boards, generates continuous card advantage, and secures victory through unstoppable combat damage by Turn 7.
