Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos forced-combat and group-slug strategy led by Xantcha, Sleeper Agent. Its primary objective is to turn opponents against one another by deploying aggressive threats that must attack each turn cycle. The deck establishes an early board presence on turn 3 through Xantcha or alternate beaters like Slicer, Hired Muscle and Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos. Once these creatures enter the fray, the pilot layers goad enchantments, such as Shiny Impetus, alongside disruptive stax pieces like War's Toll to dictate combat and exhaust opposing life totals. Card velocity is sustained through Xantcha's built-in activation and engines like Phyrexian Arena. As life totals dwindle, the deck closes the game around turn 7 using explosive post-combat mana from Neheb, the Eternal to power a lethal Exsanguinate, or through unblockable infect damage. Efficient instant-speed removal and redirection protect the engine while punishing opposing development.
