Deck overview

This mono-black artifact combo deck is commanded by Imotekh the Stormlord, focusing on generating overwhelming board presence and infinite loops whenever artifact cards leave the graveyard. The deck uses efficient graveyard tutors such as Entomb and Buried Alive to seed key pieces like Trazyn the Infinite, Triarch Praetorian, and artifact creatures, while deploying sacrifice outlets including Ashnod's Altar and Krark-Clan Ironworks. Once Nim Deathmantle or Tortured Existence combines with the commander and a death/drain payoff like Marionette Master or Psychomancer, it generates infinite mana, infinite 2/2 Necron tokens, and infinite life drain in a single turn. Backup strategies feature Bolas's Citadel storm lines and Trazyn the Infinite value engines. While soft to dedicated instant-speed graveyard exile and lacking stack interaction, the deck boasts exceptional tutor density, high redundancy, and explosive recovery through mass reanimation spells like Living Death.
