Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Tokens and Spellslinger hybrid commanded by Silverquill, the Disputant. The core game plan focuses on establishing early 1/1 token generators such as Ophiomancer, Sedgemoor Witch, and Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, which serve as expendable fuel for the commander's casualty 1 ability. Once the commander is deployed, every instant and sorcery can be duplicated by sacrificing disposable tokens, creating massive value swings from doubled removal, double token swarms, and doubled card draw. Defensive enchantments like Ghostly Prison and Authority of the Consuls slow down aggressive opponents while soul sisters maintain a healthy life buffer. The deck wins by overwhelming the table with a massive army pumped by Cathars' Crusade or casualty-copied combat buffs like Thorin's Last Stand. While vulnerable to exile board wipes, the deck's high density of token makers and redundant board clear spells give it resilience in mid-power multiplayer pods.
