Deck overview

This Mardu deck helmed by Fire Lord Zuko is a blistering extra-combat aggro-combo strategy that weaponizes the commander's firebending (attack-trigger mana) and exile-synergy engine. The primary plan is to deploy Zuko early, pump his power via the deck's dense exile-casting triggers, then chain multiple combat steps using cards like Aggravated Assault and Combat Celebrant to generate overwhelming mana and lethal damage. The deck's secondary lines include Neheb, Dreadhorde Champion mana loops and Ashling, Flame Dancer magecraft combos, while Prosper, Tome-Bound and Valakut Exploration provide sustained card advantage from exile. The commander's ability to both produce mana and scale its power makes it the linchpin of a highly explosive, same-turn kill engine.
