Deck overview

This mono-blue deck blends a dedicated artifact-based combo shell with a high-synergy control and lock suite. While Taniwha serves as an unconventional commander capable of phasing out your own lands, the deck bypasses this drawback by developing a heavy artifact mana base. Its primary route to victory is assembling the compact infinite mana engine of Isochron Scepter and Dramatic Reversal, supported by an extensive suite of low-cost tutors such as Whir of Invention, Fabricate, Spellseeker, and Muddle the Mixture. Once infinite mana and untaps are online, the deck closes the game immediately via Walking Ballista or large Blue Sun's Zenith draws. If the primary combo is contested, the deck seamlessly transitions into alternative win conditions, including Valley Floodcaller bounce loops, Hullbreaker Horror chains, or oppressive soft and hard locks utilizing Karn, the Great Creator, Mycosynth Lattice, and Land Equilibrium.
