Deck overview

This Nekusar, the Mindrazer deck is a dedicated Grixis wheel and group-slug strategy. It aims to accelerate mana during the first two turns, deploy a draw-punishing permanent such as Nekusar, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, or Underworld Dreams on Turn 4, and begin resolving mass discard-and-draw spells on Turn 5. Every wheel deals 7 to 14 damage to each opponent while digging the pilot 7 cards deep for further gas. Supported by mana-efficient counterspells like Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, and Deflecting Swat, the deck protects its turn cycles and punishes opponents for taking game actions. If uninterrupted, a single wheel followed by an upkeep cycle and a second wheel on Turn 6 closes the game by dealing over 40 damage across the table.
