Deck overview

The Serpent Society is a Golgari deathtouch tribal deck that plans to turn small, unblockable-in-spirit deathtouch creatures into poison counters. Fynn, the Fangbearer is the hidden commander: every deathtouch hit gives two poison counters, so a few attackers can end a player. The commander itself is a removal magnet and sacrifice engine, forcing opponents to lose nontoken creatures whenever another deathtouch creature dies. Secondary paths include Vraska, Swarm's Eminence growing attackers, Hooded Blightfang and Poison-Tip Archer draining life, and Beastmaster Ascension as an overrun finisher. The deck is interactive on the ground but has no counterspells and depends heavily on finding Fynn.
