Deck overview

This Sisay, Weatherlight Captain deck is a high-powered legendary toolbox midrange strategy. The deck focuses on ramping into Sisay on Turn 3 and establishing all five colors of mana by Turn 4. Sisay's activated ability functions as an instant-speed, repeatable tutor from the command zone, allowing you to fetch any legendary permanent directly onto the battlefield. This toolbox provides immediate access to silver-bullet stax creatures like Gaddock Teeg and Drana and Linvala to disrupt opposing strategies, instant-speed protection like Hajar, Loyal Bodyguard and Jirina, Dauntless General to shield the board, and explosive card draw through Shanid, Sleepers' Scourge. On Turn 5, Sisay tutors Jodah, the Unifier or Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite to supercharge the board with massive stat buffs, quickly turning utility legends into lethal combat threats. Supported by a pristine original dual land mana base, free commander protection spells, and asymmetric sweepers like Urza's Ruinous Blast, the deck overwhelms opponents with compounding value and resilient combat pressure.
