Deck overview

This five-color deck leverages the changeling mechanic to unify the most powerful tribal lords and payoffs in Magic under Morophon, the Boundless. Because changeling creatures share all creature types, every card naturally triggers cards like Priest of Titania, Risen Reef, Reaper King, and Liliana's Contract. The primary win condition is the two-card infinite combo of Maskwood Nexus and Turntimber Ranger, which produces an arbitrarily large army of 2/2 Wolf Ally tokens on Turn 5. If the combo pieces are unavailable, the deck seamlessly transitions into a tribal midrange strategy, using Morophon to cast changelings for free, destroy opposing boards with Reaper King, or burn out opponents with Scourge of Valkas. The deck is limited by a lack of stack interaction, reliance on combat steps without built-in haste, and minimal protection against board wipes.
