Deck overview

This is a Dimir Horror tribal deck that mills and exiles opponents' libraries to grow Umbris, Fear Manifest into a lethal commander while stealing value from graveyards and exile. The primary plan is to land Umbris, then chain Horror/Nightmare ETBs and mass-mill spells to feed its power. Secondary plans use Captain N'ghathrod to reanimate milled permanents, The Mindskinner as an unblockable alt-win, and Ashiok planeswalkers for exile-based advantage. The commander is a large payoff rather than an engine; the deck keeps functioning through Horrors and mill spells even if Umbris is removed. The deck has no reliable infinite mana line and wins through incremental combat and mill, usually around turns 11-12.
