Deck overview

This Bant deck is commanded by Helga, Skittish Seer and focuses on chaining 4+ mana value creature spells into substantial card advantage, life gain, and explosive mana generation. By ramping aggressively on Turns 1 and 2, the deck brings Helga into play ahead of curve. Once Helga is online, every large creature cast replaces itself and grows Helga's power, which in turn fuels further creature deployment. Untap effects like Chakram Retriever and Thousand-Year Elixir supercharge this engine, allowing multiple massive threats to enter the battlefield in a single turn. The deck transitions into late-game dominance with overwhelming beaters such as Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, Ghalta, Primal Hunger, and Astral Dragon, supported by disruption from Hullbreaker Horror. While vulnerable to mass removal if protective spells are not drawn, the deck's high card velocity and resilient threat density make it a formidable midrange force.
