Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Izzet Pirate deck is a treasure-and-combat engine. Malcolm and Breeches turn every Pirate hit into mana and card advantage: Malcolm makes Treasures for each opponent damaged, while Breeches exiles the top card of each damaged opponent to cast off-color. The deck's secondary path is artifact burn: Xorn and Gemcutter Buccaneer multiply Treasures, and Reckless Fireweaver/Ingenious Artillerist convert every artifact entering into damage to all opponents. A third path uses Port Razer and evasive Pirates to add extra combats and close through shared pumps like Shared Animosity. The supporting countermagic and free interaction keep the engine safe for the final attack. No infinite combo exists; the deck wins by accumulation.
