Mothman by Dedspec

Commander: The Wise Mothman

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Sultai mill-and-counters deck helmed by The Wise Mothman. The primary game plan is to mill opponents while growing a board of +1/+1 counter creatures. The commander turns every nonland card milled into +1/+1 counters, and the deck is packed with mill engines (Ruin Crab, Altar of the Brood, Mesmeric Orb, Memory Erosion, Psychic Corrosion, Mindcrank) and counter synergies (Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, Ouroboroid, Herald of Secret Streams). Secondary win conditions include the Syr Konrad, the Grim + Mindcrank mill/drain loop, Walking Ballista as a counter outlet, and combat damage from unblockable, exponentially growing creatures. The deck plays as a midrange value engine that accrues advantage through milling and counter proliferation.
