Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet artifact engine commanded by Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain. The primary game plan revolves around deploying Jhoira on Turn 4, then chaining low-cost artifacts, mana rocks, and cost reducers to draw through the library. As historic spells are cast in rapid succession, token generators such as Sai, Master Thopterist, Efficient Construction, and Simulacrum Synthesizer assemble an imposing army of Thopters and massive Construct tokens. The deck translates this wide presence into victory around Turns 6-7 using explosive finishers like Cyberdrive Awakener and Craterclaw Colossus. Defensively, the list is fortified by format-defining free interaction such as Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat, along with asymmetric resets like Cyclonic Rift and Desynchronization. While vulnerable to mass artifact sweepers and stax pieces that restrict spell casting, its explosive card flow and high redundancy allow it to pressure the table quickly.
