witherbloom tokens by Tachyon

Format: Commander

Commander: Witherbloom, the Balancer

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Witherbloom, the Balancer leads a Golgari token-horde deck. The primary plan is to establish early creature and token mass, cast Witherbloom for a heavily discounted cost through affinity for creatures, then chain big token sorceries that are also discounted. Once the board is 12-20 creatures, a single pump spell-Vitalizing Wind, Finale of Devastation, Vivien's Stampede, or Return of the Wildspeaker-converts the swarm into lethal combat damage. Hazel of the Rootbloom acts as a hidden secondary engine, copying tokens and converting them into mana for X spells, while Exsanguinate offers a mana-based alternate sink. The deck is not a combo deck; it wins by overwhelming board presence and can struggle if the commander is repeatedly answered or the token base is swept.
