New Mutants by LeeKrow

Format: Commander

Commander: Jenova, Ancient Calamity

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari +1/+1 counter deck that weaponizes Jenova's power into card draw and combat damage. The primary plan is to stack multipliers such as Corpsejack Menace, Branching Evolution, Hardened Scales, and The Earth Crystal, then attack with Jenova to turn another creature into an enormous Mutant. That Mutant is sacrificed to Greater Good, Disciple of Bolas, or Disciple of Freyalise for a large draw, which finds either the Gravecrawler + Phyrexian Altar + Syr Konrad death loop or a Pathbreaker Ibex/Ouroboroid combat kill. Backup engines Maester Seymour and Ouroboroid act as hidden-commander style alternatives if Jenova is answered. Jarad provides an additional life-loss finish.
