Deck overview

This is a Simic Frog tribal value deck helmed by Grolnok, the Omnivore. The core plan is to deploy a critical mass of Frogs, attack to trigger Grolnok's mill, and exile permanent cards with croak counters so they can be cast from exile as a second hand. Bounce, flicker, and ETB-reuse pieces (Clement, the Worrywort, Dour Port-Mage, Shrieking Drake, Splash Portal, Lilysplash Mentor) recycle bodies for extra triggers, mana, and card flow, while tribal payoffs (Door of Destinies, Reflections of Littjara, Herald's Horn, Maskwood Nexus) turn the board sideways. Primary wins are combat through a swollen Frog army, a slow Twenty-Toed Toad alternate win, and a handful of Intruder Alarm loops. Grolnok is the deck's access engine rather than a combo piece; without him the 99 still has tribal combat and Alarm lines, but card advantage collapses.
