MAKING TROUBLE by businesstips

Deck overview

This mono-red midrange deck is piloted by Jaxis, the Troublemaker, using its activated ability to duplicate high-impact creatures for immediate combat value, death triggers, and card cycling. The deck pairs low-cost card-filtering and Treasure creation with mid-game creature threats that scale explosively when cloned, including Fanatic of Mogis, Combustible Gearhulk, and Bloodthirster. Without infinite combo shortcuts, the game plan aims to develop mana consistently, resolve Jaxis by Turn 4, and begin generating repeated tokens by Turn 5. Redundant copy engines like Feldon of the Third Path and Determined Iteration ensure the strategy functions even if the commander faces targeted disruption. The deck delivers steady, high-damage combat pressure and direct damage, but remains vulnerable to mass creature sweepers and has limited capacity to interact with opposing enchantments or stax pieces.
