Deck overview

This Dimir spellslinger deck uses Lord of the Nazgul to translate low-cost cantrips and interaction into an overpowering army of Wraith creature tokens. In the early game, you establish mana, deploy card engines like Mystic Remora, Rhystic Study, or Archmage Emeritus, and disrupt opposing threats with efficient countermagic. Once the commander enters the battlefield, chaining cheap instants and sorceries quickly creates 3/3 Wraith tokens. In addition, the deck plays nine Nazgul creatures that pump all Wraiths each time the Ring tempts you. You win by reaching nine Wraiths to turn your board into 9/9 attackers or by clearing blockers with Raise the Palisade.
