Bracket 3 cloud stax by user4140734

Format: Commander

Commander: Cloud, Midgar Mercenary

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This deck is a highly tuned mono-white Equipment Voltron/Stax hybrid helmed by Cloud, Midgar Mercenary. The primary game plan involves deploying Cloud early to tutor an impactful Equipment, then leveraging his double-trigger ability to generate explosive value from attack triggers (ramp, card draw, removal) while a dense stax package - Rule of Law, Drannith Magistrate, Archon of Emeria - restricts opponents' ability to interact. The deck wins through commander damage or combat damage from an equipped Cloud, supported by token producers (Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Myrel, Shield of Argive) and an Isochron Scepter + Silence/Orim's Chant lock that neutralizes opposing spellcasting on the critical turns. Fast mana (Chrome Mox, Mox Opal, Urza's Tower trio) enables explosive starts, and the recursion via Unwinding Clock keeps artifacts untapped.
