Deck overview

Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel leads a mono-black aristocrats deck that converts creature deaths into card draw, life drain, and tokens. The front face is the primary engine: it draws cards on entry/attack and drains on every death, with the fourth death trigger transforming it into the Angel and granting a permanent death-drain emblem. The deck's secondary paths are token generation, sacrifice outlets, and drain payoffs such as Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and The Meathook Massacre. It wins through repeated sacrifice loops, often with Gravecrawler, Reassembling Skeleton, or Forsaken Miner, and can finish with Torment of Hailfire or Bolas's Citadel. The hidden commander is Ayara, First of Locthwain, who provides a second drain engine and card draw. The deck is resilient to board wipes and can rebuild through recursion and token makers.
