Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul Artifact Voltron and Stompy strategy commanded by Aerid Konstrari. The game plan revolves around accelerating mana early with rocks and ramp, casting Aerid on Turn 4, and accumulating artifact tokens such as Heartwoods and Treasures. Aerid's repeatable activated ability generates additional mana-producing tokens while granting massive power boosts based on total artifact count. The deck converts this scaling power into game-ending pressure through evasive flying commander combat, supplemented by trample enablers like Garruk's Uprising and direct-damage burst cards such as Fling and Kazuul's Fury. Backup win conditions like Craterclaw Colossus and Tyvar, the Pummeler allow the deck to overwhelm opponents even if the commander is removed. Efficient redirect spells including Deflecting Swat and Bolt Bend safeguard the core threats. Overall, the deck delivers resilient midrange combat power and high mana velocity in casual and optimized commander pods.
