Deck overview

This is a five-color Assassin midrange-combo deck helmed by Ezio Auditore da Firenze. The core plan layers efficient Assassin combat pressure (freerunning discounts after any Assassin or commander connects, menace, deathtouch, half-life swings) with a compact combo package and life-total manipulation that feeds Ezio's execute clause. Primary wins are Thassa's Oracle + Demonic Consultation/Tainted Pact, Ramses "last Assassin standing" closes, and combat lines that drop a player to 10 life then pay WUBRG off Ezio's trigger. Supporting engines include premium draw (Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora, The One Ring), fast black rituals, and a dense free-interaction suite that protects the combo turn. Ezio himself is a cheap, recastable threat and freerunning enabler rather than a hard engine; the 99 contains multiple independent win paths, so the deck functions cleanly even when the commander is answered.
