Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Spellslinger Combat deck led by Fire Lord Azula. The strategy focuses on declaring Azula as an attacker to generate firebending mana and trigger her spell-copying ability. By casting instant-speed spells and flash permanents during combat, you duplicate card draw, creature removal, and power buffs for free. Magecraft engines like Storm-Kiln Artist, Archmage Emeritus, and Veyran, Voice of Duality convert every cast and copy into massive mana generation, fresh cards, and direct damage to opponents. Standalone threats like Avatar Roku, Firebender and Hullbreaker Horror provide heavy combat damage and board control. The deck wins by combining lethal commander attacks with noncombat burn from Guttersnipe and Vivi Ornitier to knock out all three opponents over consecutive turns.
