Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Izzet Spellslinger Storm build commanded by Vivi Ornitier. Vivi serves as both the deck's primary mana acceleration engine and an escalating burn win condition, growing with +1/+1 counters and dealing damage to each opponent whenever noncreature spells are cast. The deck's early turns focus on cantrip filtering and cost reduction via cards like Ruby Medallion, Stormcatch Mentor, and Sorcerer Class, deploying Vivi on Turn 3. By Turn 4, the deck achieves usable assembly, chaining low-cost spells and leveraging Vivi's tapless {0} mana activation to generate substantial tempo surplus. On Turn 6, the deck launches a critical storm turn, pairing rituals like Mana Geyser and Seething Song with burn multipliers such as Fiery Inscription and Guttersnipe to eliminate all opponents in a single turn. Backed by extensive countermagic, infinite lines with Dualcaster Mage and Sublime Epiphany, and extra turn loops, the deck delivers high-velocity spellslinging power.
