Deck overview

This deck is a Simic Landfall strategy built around Zimone, Mystery Unraveler. It accelerates mana on turns 1 and 2, casts Zimone on turn 3, and uses double-landfall triggers on turn 4 to manifest dread and flip massive permanents face up without paying their mana costs. Topdeck manipulation from cards like Brainstorm, Sensei's Divining Top, and Scroll Rack guarantees that expensive threats such as Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant, Hullbreaker Horror, Koma, Cosmos Serpent, and Archetype of Endurance are placed directly face down and flipped early. Once these threats enter the battlefield, they establish strong asymmetric control over opposing spells and boards, paving the way for lethal combat damage across subsequent turns. Standalone landfall engines ensure high resilience even when the commander is removed.
