Deck overview

This deck is a five-color artifact midrange and value engine commanded by Karn, Gilded Guardian. The primary game plan focuses on deploying efficient artifact ramp and cost reducers in the opening turns, establishing diverse colored artifacts, and casting Karn on turn 4 to draw a large burst of cards. Once assembled, the deck chains blink effects such as Ephemerate and Displacer Kitten to repeatedly trigger enter-the-battlefield abilities, refilling the hand and generating substantial board presence. The deck closes games on turn 6 to 7 through wide-board artifact animation using Cyberdrive Awakener, explosive combat scaling from Kappa Cannoneer and Alibou, Ancient Witness, or one-sided mass reanimation with Wake the Past. Strong protection pieces like Teferi's Protection and Fierce Guardianship defend the board against opposing interaction.
