Commander: Beledros Witherbloom

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari life-gain and token-value engine helmed by Beledros Witherbloom. The primary game plan is to turbo out the commander, then use its once-per-turn "pay 10 life: untap all lands" ability to generate explosive mana each turn. The deck leverages that mana to cast massive spells like Genesis Wave, Peer into the Abyss, or Tooth and Nail entwined, overwhelming the board with permanents, cards, and life-drain triggers. Token doublers (Doubling Season, Parallel Lives) and life-gain payoffs (Alhammarret's Archive, Well of Lost Dreams, Moldervine Reclamation) turn the steady stream of Pest tokens into card advantage and life total pressure. The secondary win condition is a devotion drain via Gray Merchant of Asphodel or the extort package (Crypt Ghast, Pontiff of Blight). The deck is a value-oriented ramp engine that can pivot into a midrange swarm or a huge spell finish.
