Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius aggro-control strategy centered on Denzilore Fatehold, turning every scry and surveil action into team-wide +1/+1 counters. The early game focuses on deploying low-cost evasive creatures and repeatable scry enablers like Faerie Seer, Nightveil Sprite, and Gossip's Talent. Once Denzilore enters the battlefield—often using flash on an opponent's end step—every subsequent scry rapidly scales the entire board into lethal airborne threats. Card advantage engines such as Matoya, Archon Elder, Danny Pink, and Dusk Legion Duelist convert counter distribution and scry triggers into continuous hand replenishment. The deck leverages asymmetric board wipes like Wave Goodbye and Damning Verdict alongside unblockable enablers like Herald of Secret Streams to bypass opposing defenses. Robust protection spells, including Teferi's Protection, Ripples of Potential, and Fierce Guardianship, shield the board from sweepers and removal, ensuring a dominant and resilient combat finish over two attack rotations.
