Deck overview

This deck is a Sphinx and Changeling tribal midrange deck commanded by The Ur-Sphinx. The deck uses the commander's Eminence ability alongside artifact cost-reducers like Urza's Incubator and Herald's Horn to deploy expensive, high-toughness flying threats well ahead of curve. The engine centers on Unesh, Criosphinx Sovereign and Consecrated Sphinx, which rapidly refill the hand and flood the battlefield with formidable flyers. A dense package of 8 counterspells protects the board and answers opposing win attempts, while one-sided wipes like Kindred Judgment clear away opposing blockers. Without infinite combos, the deck steadily closes out games by dealing lethal flying combat damage across multiple attack steps.
