Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai graveyard and landfall midrange strategy helmed by Teval, the Balanced Scale. The game plan focuses on utilizing early ramp to deploy Teval by Turn 3, initiating repeatable self-mill, land ramp, and 2/2 Zombie Druid token generation on Turn 4 attacks. As the graveyard fills with lands and creature threats, the deck transitions into the late game through powerful recursion engines like Life from the Loam, Meren of Clan Nel Toth, and Victimize. By Turn 6, high mana reserves and deep graveyard resources enable critical onset via overwhelming bombs such as Living Death, Avenger of Zendikar, or a towering Lord of Extinction. The deck applies steady pressure through combat damage and radiation attrition, typically concluding the game on Turn 8 over two combat rotations. While resilient against single-target removal thanks to deep recursion, the strategy remains vulnerable to mass graveyard exile and board sweepers due to minimal stack protection.
