Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red Dragon tribal midrange strategy commanded by Ganax, Astral Hunter. The deck leverages dense early-game ramp and cost reducers such as Dragonlord's Servant, Dragonspeaker Shaman, and Herald's Horn to deploy Ganax ahead of curve on Turn 4. Once on the battlefield, Ganax converts every subsequent Dragon spell into immediate mana velocity by generating Treasure tokens. This mana refund enables the deck to chain together massive, high-impact threats starting on Turn 5, including Lathliss, Dragon Queen, Utvara Hellkite, Drakuseth, Maw of Flames, and Terror of Mount Velus. The game plan focuses on establishing a dominant aerial presence, leveraging asymmetric board wipes like Breath Weapon and Magmaquake that spare flying Dragons, and closing out the table with overwhelming combat damage around Turn 7. An infinite creature combo with Draconic Visitor provides an alternate burst win condition.
