Deck overview

This is a Dimir artifact-value deck helmed by Scientist Supreme of A.I.M., whose ability-copying engine doubles the triggered and activated abilities of the deck's artifact permanents. The primary plan is to deploy a critical mass of artifact synergists - Ultron, Artificial Malevolence, Uthros Research Craft, Pactdoll Terror, Panharmonicon, Virtue of Knowledge - and then use the commander to copy their abilities each turn for compounding value. The deck wins through three interlocking routes: overwhelming combat from large artifact creatures like Tri-Sentinel, Act of Vengeance and Krang, Master Mind; incremental life-drain from Pactdoll Terror and Aetherflux Reservoir; and the explosive finishers of Bolas's Citadel and Aetherflux Reservoir, both of which the commander can copy for doubled effect. It is a grindy, midrange value deck that out-values opponents over long games rather than assembling a fast combo.
