Deck overview

This is an Orzhov Vampire aristocrats/midrange deck built around Edgar, Charmed Groom and his transformation into Edgar Markov's Coffin. The front side is a repeatable anthem for the Vampire swarm, while the coffin side generates a free lifelink token each upkeep and flips back after three turns, giving the deck real inevitability and an effective way to dodge commander tax. The strategy is to deploy cheap Vampires, use sacrifice outlets and death triggers for incremental value, then finish through a wide lifelink board, aristocrat-style drains, or the two-card Exquisite Blood + Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose loop. Secondary engines like Sorin, Lord of Innistrad, Elenda, the Dusk Rose, and Twilight Prophet supply tokens, card flow, and life-total pressure. This is not a fast combo deck; it wins by grinding, recursion, and out-tempoing opponents in the midgame.
