Commander: Winter Soldier, Icy Assassin

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Orzhov Equipment-voltron deck built around Winter Soldier, Icy Assassin. His raw +2/+0 per attached Equipment makes the game plan simple: assemble several pieces of cheap Equipment, then one swing kills with commander damage while Cranial Plating and Swordsman's Steel convert the overlapping Equipment count into a lethal swing total. The commander's graveyard recursion makes even spot-removal a temporary setback rather than a complete stop. Secondary paths are value beats with Whiplash, Mjolnir, and occasional board protection. Sram, Puresteel Paladin, Stonefritz and related engines keep the deck from bricking. There is no true hidden commander; the deck's strongest support pieces, Sram and Puresteel Paladin, function like hidden card-draw engines.
